Up for auction is a rare ½” pipe thread, used, SAMSON PERFEXMODEL B COIL PLUG/PLUG COIL sparkplug. This 1905 patented plug was originally made for very early motorboatengine use. To eliminate getting shocked by the secondary circuit of ignition, this plug incorporates the COIL and SPARK PLUG in one. The brass cap can beadjusted to put different tension on the “points” underneath. This type of“coil plug” eliminates high tension wiring to plugs.
