Vintage Swimming Medal AAU Enamel Age Group Medford OR Amateur Athletic UnionPlease check the pictures to examine the detail, checking the pictures and item description for condition.Recently I purchased several box lots of swimming medals with patches from auctions in Oregon and Wisconsin.The majority are vintage from the 1960s.This pre-owned medal is as found.The medal has a silver tone finish with a red, white, and blue ribbon.It features raised and recessed details.The obverse... features a representation of two swimmers with the red, white, and blue enamel AAU shield logo.It states, AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Age Group. The reverse is flat, it has information about the swim meet taped to the back.If you like swimming sports medals please check my other listings.The medal including the ribbon is approximately 3 inches by approximately 1 1/4 inches at the widest points.
