Original Description:
This is an antique higly carved Chinese painting or mirror frame from the mid 1800s.   It has depth in the carving and it is very well done and is around the frame.    The frame will fit a painting or glass that is  24x29 inches.   Overall the frame measures 30.5 x 34.5 inches.   The wood is a natural aged patina.   You can see the frame was put together with mortised sides (not nails) so it is hand made construction....  If i had to guess the age i believe it was made in the1860s-1880s.  The wood has a distressed appearance , the Chinese probably had a hard to time finding quality wood to make these frames back then, so they did not use the best quality wood.Winning bidder is to include $50   for shipping in the continental United States, please email for rates outside this area.
