Vintage Red & Yellow Canvas Pennants Boating Or Yachting?

Here are four Canvas Yachting pennants that were found in a box at a high end garage sale. Three are yellow and one is red. Other items in the box dated these to be from the mid fifties. Only a guess on my part. They measure 8 1/2" high and are13" long. I had them steamed at a local drycleaner and they will be shipped rolled in tissue. I know little or nothing about yacht racing or signal flags. That being said, these appear to be in excellent... condition and show little signs of use. One of the yellow flags has what appears to be a thumbtack hole hear the binding in the center of the flag.I have a vintage flag from the Central NY Yacht Racing Assoc. and three Nylon pennants listed elsewhere on eBay.Check the pictures and ask questions if you have them.
