One of the greatest players of all time. These Ties and other Haberdashery items, were tucked away in an "Chest of Drawers" (dresser) stored at George Zaharias home here in Tampa Fl. Estimated Value: $700.00-$800.00 _____________________________________________________________________________________For the 1st time The Babe & George Zaharias Golf Foundation, Inc. will be conducting a special offering of Personally owned unique historical collectibles form the Zaharias Estate. Most of these items have been for over a half century in our humidity controlled storage. Some of the items include Golf clubs, Bags, Balls, Autographed photos, Books, and other memorabilia. Also, other donated pieces over the years from famous Sports figures, Entertainers, Military and Political figures. All acquisitions will include provenances and any other points of interest. Monies, including donations, derived from individual auctions, with on going grants; enable this Foundation to be supportive in all its “Forgotten Youth” programs. We are presently negotiating to obtain a site, here in the Tampa Bay area, to construct a facility that will educate, encourage, and support all these children and teenagers.
