Absolutely fabulous pair of ceramic pieces.
First, we have a large carafe, decanter, or genie bottle with a matching stopper. The bulbous base of the vessel has four large petals of white textured areas. The rest is lavender and royal purple splattered with turquoise blue. The matching stopper has more of the textured surface and small purple ball at the very top. 12.5" tall with stopper, approx. 9.5" wide at the widest point.
The matchin...g vase is the same color scheme of purple and turquoise splatter glaze, with an elegant swooping handle. This is approx. 7" tall and 5.5" wide.
Overall, in fair vintage condition. No chips or cracks in the larger bottle, except that the stopper appears to have been broken and repaired. This repair is nearly invisible in the busy splatter glaze. The small vase has one small chip on the lip (see picture) and several chips on the very base (see picture) as well as a hairline crack and some crazing on the edge of the bulbous area directly under the spout. No maker's marks.
