WoodsAdirondack Spruce top, Cuban Mahogany back and sides, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. ConditionThe Jumbo Junior is in good vintage shape. Head stock all original with no issues, Kluson Deluxe tuners work well and this would have been high grade in the 1930's. The nut is good. The finger board is beautiful! and in great shape. The Brass frets look excellent and the pearl position markers are in excellent shape. The top is pretty straight for a vintage guitar. All the binding looks good on the front and back. The bridge looks good and the saddle still has some room. The pick guard is not original but looks nice. A couple of repaired cracks on the top and a few repaired on the back. The back and sides were over sprayed but the Cuban Mahogany is still beautiful. The action is playable on the guitar but needs a neck reset to be optimal. Sound ProfileThe bass tone is nice and full, with sweet bell like trebles. Good punch on the mids with an explosive finish. The Jumbo Junior is a balanced guitar that sounds fantastic in this 00 form. The neck profile is a C shape almost seems like a D, somewhere in between. Nice handful. OverallOverall, this may be a one of kind blues guitar with incredible woods, the rare transverse brace, great tone, and a real beauty! You may not see a guitar like this again in a lifetime.
