I am offering on Buy It Now a rare Coalport bone china tea cup and saucer in an alternate "Cairo" pattern. This classic English duo features a generous 4" tea cup with a decorated interior and exterior. The interior has an intricate central medallion and a floral wreath around the rim. The fancy raised handle is white with gold detail. The wide, flared pedestal has a wavy rim that is gold trimmed. The exterior of the cup is decorated all around with the rich pattern. The 5 3/4" saucer ...features the central medallion and richly decorated border. The rim is gold trimmed. Both pieces have the same red stamp and the cup has a decorator's mark.
