Vintage Heuer 510.503 - Automatic Lemania 5100 - Central Minutes Chronograph. For Sale is a rare configuration of the legendary Heuer 510.503 sport chronograph with the pewter finish. It has the original orange chronograph seconds and minutes T-hand in the central main watch face. The 12 o'clock register is a 24-hour counter, a date and day display at the 3 o'clock window, a 12-hour chrono in the 6 o'clock register and a continuous 60 second watch counter in the 9 o'c...lock register. The watch comes with the original booklet as well as service papers that came with the watch when I purchased it (I'm not the original owner). I have only seen one other example with the day and date configuration - and that is on the On The Dash website for the 501.503 page. Very few manufacturers make the central minutes chronograph where the minutes and seconds are displayed on the outer ring, because it became uneconomical to build. For the user, however, it allows for a quick measure of time while driving, hiking or whatever activity you are doing. Watch is in great, used condition with some surface dings and scratches. Keeps time and chronograph functions and resets to zero but has not been serviced recently. Case size approximately 40mmx45mm and 15mm thick. Tritium. Signed Crown. Bracelet comfortably accommodates my 7" wrist.
