These two gingham towelsare appliquéd with Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Bill designs. The towels are a lime green and white ginghamwith a fringed bottom edge. Sue’s dressand Bill’s overalls are a green and yellow print material. Her hat and his shirt are a plain yellowmaterial. In addition, there are veryinteresting embroidered yellow flowers on both towels. The towels measure about 22” across but arefolded to about 11”. They are about 38”lon...g including the fringe but are folded in half to hang. The towels are in very good condition with notears, holes, wear, or stains. The appliquéand embroidery work is excellent but I do wonder if the green in one towel is slightly different than in the other towel, so please refer to the pictures.
