Designed in an era when smaller wasn't just fashionably better, but size was a matter of technical pride, this beautiful Omega Cal. 620 mechanical wind movement fits inside a solid 14k gold classic square case and keeps excellent time. Not fast, not slow, but right on time. The silver dial has a gorgeous champagne sunburst and it suits the gold case we...ll. The gold applied hour markers shimmer in sunlight and the black hands make this legible contrasting with the silver dial. This watch was originally designed for men, but by today's standards I think this would make a beautiful gift for women, girls, boys...or men with smaller wrists. I have an above average wrist size and I can pull it off in more formal attire. Comes on a 16mm handcrafted smooth cognac leather strap, but I think would look excellent on snake skin or suede. This would be a great gift for daughter's graduation or wife's birthday, or even for a gentleman with impeccable and classic taste. The piece is in excellent condition, with almost no signs of aging other than some hairline marks on the gold caseback, and the crystal is in great shape as well.
