Wow, please take a good look at this extremely fine old Minute Repeating watch madeby the Touchon Watch Co.
DIAL, HANDS & CRYSTAL:The beveled glass crystal is in excellentcondition, no scratches, chips or cracks. It has a whiteporcelain single sunk dial with black Arabic numeral hour markers. gold Louis XIV hour and minute and seconds hands are in excellent condition. The dialis signed Touchon & Co. Geneva and is in excellent good c...ondition with one faint hairlines near the 1.CASE: The 12 size yellow gold 14K solid gold, snap back bezel and Hinged Back Open Face case with plain polish and nice initialed engraving.The case shows little wear and no dents or scratches.The case measures 44.88 mm in diameter not including the slide.MOVEMENT:The nickel, highlydamaskeened, nicely finished 23 jewel, stem wind stem set, movement is signed Touchon and adjusted 4 positions.Watch is running nicely, although I routinely have not had it serviced and don't guarantee accuracy, keep in mind that this is a vintage watch and that you should plan on having it overhauled to meet your expectations. I had the watch serviced maybe a year ago and it is running well, the setting is tight, you have to really pull on the crown to get it into the setting mode. The slide activates the repeat appropriately, it strikes the minutes quarters and minutes well. The tone is fine especially in the hours and quarters, the minute strike is a little soft.The watch is a 12 size watch. and measures 44.88 mm in diameter not including crown or slide.
