OH CAPTAIN!, Souvenir Program, NYC, 1958. The musical opened in NYC on 02/04/58 and ran for 192 performances. Inside are production photos, headshot photos, bios and critics' quotes. The cast includes Tony Randall, Abbe Lane, Alexandra Danilova, Jacquelyn McKeever, Edward Platt, Susan Johnson, Paul Valentine and Stanley Carlson. Music and lyrics by Jay Linginston and Ray Evans and book by Al Morgan and Jose Ferrer (based on the scr...een play, The Captain's Paradise by Alec Coppel). Directed by Jose Ferrer and choreographed by James Starbuck. The program is complete.This is NOT a reproduction!!Note: Souvenir programs are 9 x 12 inches but may vary somewhat in size.Condition is near excellent with minor wear.International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee.CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
