Click images to enlarge Description This antique carved cameo art glass vase is signed Daum Nancy. I was told by two sources that it is an authentic piece, dating to around 1908.
It stands 13" in height. It measures 4-1/4" in diameter across the top rim, and 3-5/8" in diameter across the bottom. It weighs 3.5 pounds.
The vase looks almost solid black or dark gray, but it is translucent with spotted swirls throughout. The outside has raised carved dark purple blackberries and beautiful shades of autumn leaves in tones of russet and green.
There is a small chip to the inner top rim, and surface marks that may be from the manufacturing process. The vase is being sold "as is", so please see all of the photos I have included here.
The vase will be well packed. Insurance is included in the shipping fee.
