OK after listing the 42nd photo from this collection I think I finally figured out who was the owner... better late then never. Captain then later Major W. P. Hippler.
WWII 1940's US Army Air Force Photo from Unnamed Glider Pilot. Almost all are airplane & Glider training. No info written on backs, no other info came with photos. They had all been removed from album and have slight indent on corners from album corners. Some clues are 194...3 movie playing at a photo of pilots in front of movie theater. Some photos have Texas photo developing stamps on back.
