Here is a beautiful old violin for sale circa 1780's. It is full size and bares a label of Jacobus Stainer (please see photo). It is a stunning instrument and has character and charisma in look and sound. The instrument is in good solid condition with the expected repairs and ware that an instrument this old would have. It has repaired cracks, patches, new wood on the edges, the neck is grafted, a little retouch varnish on edges etc. However, the instrument is in solid conditio...n and is ready to play.
