T The item for sale is an exceptional piece of Chinese embroidery and needlepoint that was probably made during the first half of the twentieth century. Half of the panel is blue silk while the other half is heavily decorated with flowers and pottery items. Many colors of thread were used to create rich shading and dimension. Much of the stitching is embroidery but the center peony flower and pottery are stitched in needlepoint. The panel is clean with tight sti...tching. The center panel has a black border around it. This border was added to protect the edge of the panel. There is a small are of separation of these two components. The panel size is 18 1/2" x 9 1/2". The total size is 21" x 12"
