Hi everyone, here is a very special doll, she is an American Character Magi Flex Betsy McCall doll, she is 29in tall & she is in an original dress, I can't seem to find any other Betsy's in this dress, so I would say it is likely quite rare. The doll is very pretty with bright brown sleep eyes that work well & full shiny hair, with original headband that matches the waistband on her dress. I did not undress her, I do not see any cracks in her seams etc, her legs are strung &...; secure but she is very flexible & would not stand up without a stand or good positioning, her ankles are jointed, I did not try to force them to move, she has her original shoes, however the shoes have come apart from the soles in areas, leaving choice up to buyer to re-glue the shoes to the soles. She has magi-flex hands that swivel correctly. There is a lining under the sheer dress & then a netted slip also & a pair of satiny underwear that match the lining. The elastic in the sleeves still has some spring to it. Pretty face coloring. I do not smell any odors on the doll or her box. Her box shows a lot of age & storage coloring, almost looks like water spots on the box, I am not sure, but it is dry & fairly sturdy & I do not smell any odors to it. It states on the outside of the box to "find the display sign" which she comes with, which is a unique part of the advertising for her, it shows on the outside of the box, how to place the display sign into the inserts of her display, inside the box, you will see the white cardboard that she was attached to & the slots in the top of that for the display sign.
