Original, studio-issued, 12” x 15”, 26 page pressbook along with an 8 ½” x 11 newsprint 4 page Study Guide, an 11” x 17” newsprint 4 page herald and a 1 page (single-sided) Advertising Billing sheet for the 1966 historical WWII war drama “Is Paris Burning?”, directed by Rene Clement, based on the Larry Collins / Dominique Lapierre book, with screenplay by Gore Vidal / Francis Ford Coppola, music by Maurice Jarre and starring Jean-Paul Belmondo, Charles Boyer, Leslie Caro...n, Gert Frobe (as General Dietrich von Choltitz who disobeyed Hitler’s order to burn Paris) and numerous cameos by such greats as Glenn Ford, Orson Welles, Anthony Perkins, Yves Montand, Kirk Douglas, Robert Stack, Simone Signoret etc.. The overall near excellent condition unfolded pressbook is complete and uncut but with some pages (pages 3 – 4, 9 -10, pages 11 through 16 and pages 21 – 22) loose / separated from the staples / spine. The Study Guide, herald and Advertising Billing Sheet are all in excellent condition with typical slight browning of the tabloid newsprint paper. In our other auctions, we also have up the Study Guide and herald from “Is Paris Burning?” separately in case you already have the pressbook but not those extra items, along with a variety of additional pressbooks and other movie memorabilia and happy to offer combined postage on multiple wins.
