Large format cameras used in USSR up to end of 1980s for scientific, publishing, military and portrait (for different licenses) photos. FKD is camera for traveling (F...oto Kamera Dorognaja). FKD camera was compact and mobile in 1940s terms, it produced initially at Geofizika plant (Moscow city) since 1947, but later on such cameras produced at Kharkov city too. Last FKD cameras had been produced at Kharkov city in 1987. It was very simple devices, but it was enough for job. ITEM'S CONDITION: New Old Stock The cassette looks never used before even you can see minor rust areas at some springs. Comes in original box, with passport. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Frame size 13x18 cm. * Special double plate cassette. * Intended for Soviet FKD cameras but may be you'll can mount it to other large format cameras. * Made off plastic. * More reliable and weather-resist than previous steel or woody cassettes. * The cassette was made in USSR at Soyusorgtehnika plant (Kharkov city) in 1980s.
