this is the second edition of this history of the British Parliament in the reign of King William, this cop...y was originally the property og Thomas Kenyon with his name at the front of the book signed in the year of the publication of the book in 1702, Kenyon was from the family of The Baron’s Kenyon, of Gredington, in the County of Flint, within the book he has written a number of notes in the page margins, and at the rear of the book is four pages of neatly handwritten material, including a news article copied from the August 1728 issue of Mist’s weekly newspaper journal, which was a paper owned by the Jacobite Nathaniel Mist, also there is a list of names headed at the top of the page “The Whigs of these days”
the book is bound in a contemporary old full calf leather binding, with handwritten title labels, 8 inches tall, 212 pages, also includes a nice contemporary handmade bookmark (see pictures)
CONDITION
very small split to top of spine else binding is in good solid condition, internally a paper fault to one page margin (pictured) with some edge loss not touching the text, a small mark to one page (pictured) else contents in nice general condition
