~*~ Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk! ~*~
The design of this lovely fabric is so graceful and was inspired by the much earlier designs of Jean-Baptiste Pillement. ~ This panel dates to circa 1860 ~ LOVELY floral design with trumpet and umbrella like flowers! ~ This panel has aged and faded SO beautifully ~ it has gently and evenly faded, the ground tone is a wonderful warm off-white. ~This fabric is a medium weight cotton. ~ The printing tones are ...a purple-brown, red, and khaki. There is a seam in this lovely panel that runs down the length off to one side. One long side edge is selvage, the other is cut with them remnants of old seams and the short ends are also cut. ~ Ideal for pillows, small upholstery projects, lampshades etc.
( ff11 )MEASUREMENTS: This lovely textile measures about 50 inches wide by 58 inches long, please note the edges are a bit uneven where they were cut. ~
CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are little green threads left here and there from old seams. Lovely soft cotton fabric in very sturdy condition! Please see above for important condition details ~
