SUPERB c1900 ART NOUVEAU JUGENDSTIL CHILD FIGURAL SILVER PLATE FERN POT VASE WMF Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions. Up for Auction with NO RESERVE is a SUPERB c1900 ART NOUVEAU JUGENDSTIL CHILD FIGURAL SILVER PLATE FERN POT VASE The Fern Pot features amazing Jugendstil design with very sweet portraits of a Child. I looked the Vase over fairly carefully expecting to find a WMF mark but could not, I may have missed it or I know many WMF examples were never marked. The Gold Gilding also shows the excellent quality.
Condition: The planter pot is in fine condition for the age with the base metal showing through which gives it a old world look or if you feel so inclined you could have it re-plated to look as good as new.
Size: The planter pot measures 14-1/2 inches long by 6-1/2 inches wide overall and sitting 6-1/4 inches tall, the insert measures 9-1/4 inches long by 5 inches wide and sitting 3 inches tall.
Even in rough condition and unmarked to maker, this is a fabulous piece and I must say I love it !
