A rare Pan paperback edition of Diamonds are Forever by Ian Fleming in very good condition. This is the 4th printing published by Pan in 1961 and the first printing with this cover. One of only three editions before the more common yellow band cover was released.The book has the striking and colourful illustration on the front. The covers have a few little signs of their age with a few minor bumps and creases to the edges.The spine is also very good condition, complete but with creases... and a slight roll.Inside, the pages are slightly tanned with very little browning to the text block edge. Plus no inscriptions or markings.This edition was a part of the increasingly hard to find Director Series released by Pan in the 1960's so a unique opportunity to add to a very good copy to your collection!
