Upfor sale is an enormous, 1362 pages of word definitions, plus 80 pages of Pictorial Illustrations, of An American Dictionary of the EnglishLanguage containing the whole vocabulary of the First Edition in Two VolumesQuarto; the entire corrections and improvements of the Second Edition in TwoVolumes Royal Octavo.  It also has anIntroductory Dissertation on the Principles on Which Languages are Formed byNoah Webster, LL.D.  The book measures 8¾” x 4” x 10 ¼”.  The... board are purplewith “WEBSTER’S DICTIONARY ORIGINAL EDITION INCLUDING APPENDIX 1500ILLUSTRATIONS, ETC.” is written on the book spine.  Condition: covers faded, corners rounded; small tear on spine cover; pagesyellowed; back board cover coming loose; no writing.  The book weighs almost 6 pounds.
