The books measure 10 X 6 3/4 inches each; (Royal 8vo); hardcover; brown buckram on boards with gilt stamped lettering on red & black leather spine labels; corners & edges of spine & boards worn; cloth on spine & boards lightly soiled, scratched & lightly rubbed; page tips marbled; text blocks tight - no pages loose; minor chipping on fore-edge of title page of Vol.I; stains on title page & first two pages of Vol. 2; contents evenly age toned.
