- Baltimore #5 Rail Lever letterpress -Here is an antique printing press from around 1885These Rail lever presses were used to help settle the west, they were used for tickets, tags and calling cards.This little machine is in outstanding original condition. The paint and gold leafing are in very good condition. It operates smoothly and the type chase is intact.The original wood dovetail box is in very good condition, the label is fully intact, although the top cover fits nicely, it is ...about 4' short. Also included is the original 1 page Manual and the ink roller that is dry and cracked.The Press measures 10.5'' long x 7.5" high x 3.5'' wide.The Platen measures 3.375" x 2.250''The inside Chase measures 3.125'' X 1.750"I will very carefully package this device for safe shipment anywhere.100 percent satisfaction guaranteed with this machine................................Please contact me for any additional information..............................***** Thank you! *****
