This antique 15" tall Russian doll has a bisque or terra cotta head and a jointed composition and wood body. These dolls were most likely made from Kammer & Reinhardt or Simon and Halbig molds. This doll is marked with a star like design with what appears to be "10" inside, and "200 Welsch Made In Germany 3/0". She has blue sleep eyes, a blond wig in a braid, and is wearing her original outfit, missing a hat or head scarf. There is a large chip in her ...left ear, a bit of missing paint on her lower arm, and her eyes are not cemented. (See last photo.) Her clothes have wear, including tears and soil. She is very loosely strung.
