Sony ICF - 2010 FM AM SW LW AIR Multiband Radio Shortwave Receiver

One of Sony’s best! The body is in good condition, with only a few minor scratches and some oxidization on the antenna which extends fully and smoothly. The built in kickstand is still functional and the battery compartment is corrosion free. The LED backlight still works but is a bit dim unless you’re in the dark. The LED signal indicators are still bright. Runs on 3 D cell batteries and 2 AA batteries for the computer. Includes a DC power jack. I believe the AA batteries are requ...ired even with the power jack.
I’ve tested the FM, AM and SW bands and they all pick up reception great! Speaker is nice and loud too. I can hear static on LW and AIR, but never any transmissions. That may just be my area and/or due to the digital switch. I don’t use those bands enough to know really. I am unable to test the External Antenna and Cassette Tape jacks so please buy with all of this in mind.
I would recommend looking over the manual for some of the more confusing things like the setting the timer, memory functions and V-Sync. Make sure to switch off the front power switch AND the main (teal) power switch on the side when unplugging/plugging the DC power jack. If you don’t, there will be an Error 3 message.
