It was produced in the late 1960's!
It is in excellent cosmetic condition and would look great on your vintage desk, or on a shelf with the other commodore items in your collection!
Would make a great display piece for an interior designer or even for somebody with a museum!
Would also make a great piece for a TV Show or Movie set in the late 60's up to and including the 1970's and maybe even the 80's. ...These adding machines were built tough and made to last and stand the test of time.
Which is why I am pleased to report that this unit does indeed work and does all the math it was ever designed to do! There does seem to be a ribbon feed issue.
I remember when I was little hanging out in an office, there was an old adding machine and there was nothing as wonderful for a small boy as punching in the numbers and then hitting one of the button and seeing and hearing the mechanism come to life.
This of course comes with the power cord and as this item was made for and used in the North American market, it is 120 volts AC.
There is nothing like the mechanical sound of an old vintage machine such as this, and you will be envy of your Commodore Users Group or Club when you show up at a meeting with this rare vintage calculator!
If you make an offer, then the cost of shipping we will have to discuss and I would estimate that shipping would be in the range of $50 within the USA and Canada due to the weight and of course, to ensure the safe functioning arrival, it needs to be well packed with much packing material...
The cost of shipping it elsewhere in the world is estimated and would of course depend on the destination and any shipping specifications you might have...
Thanks so much for having a look and if you are looking for other Commodore relics or parts to help your vintage machine come back to life, I am an avid collector and do sell parts...any questions or comments, please write to be via EBAY...have a great day! Offers are always more than welcome and will be entertained!
