Pair of Sylvania 6B4G power triode tubes inoriginal/appropriate boxes. Both presumed new old stock. Date mark on bothtubes is February, 1957 (709) – same as on boxes (2-57). Box style withcushioning sleeve and green screen print on tubes suggests these were producedfor military-supply but there is no “JAN CHS” mark on tubes or contract info onboxes. Both tubes with the same internal construction having parallel flatplates and large bottom rectangular getter.Tubes were thoroughly ...tested on TV-7D/U military tube testerthat was calibrated and upgraded by Mr. Dan Nelson. The minimum “good” value fora 6B4G tube on this tester is 1, 900µ. Plate current under test was alsomeasured. These tubes tested in the upper range of new old stock and at a nearperfect Gm match of 4, 085 and 4, 060 and a plate current of 36.0 and 37.9 milliamps, respectively.Both tubes are provided with individual test results enclosedon a paper test report.Pleasenote that I am not a “tube dealer” - these items are from the collection of anold timey radio guy who is a friend.
