The house calibre Lip T18 came after T20 in 1933. 18 for 18 mm wide. It was created by André Donat. Its production stopped in 1949.The case was designed on the French tanks of the First World War.
It was the first watch offered to Général de Gaulle by Fred Lip. Sir Winston Churchill, the President Eisenhower, all of them used to wear a T18. It was the reference at that time between these great Leaders.
The original 'Made in France' dial has lovely patina and raised gold roman ...numeral indices signed in gold LIP, the steel case is in remarkable condition for the age of the watch and has no major scratches or dings, everything is still present under the case, the dust protection and the original Gilt T18 movement is in excellent order and keeping accurate time for a vintage watch.
The case is 21.50 mm wide without the crown, 23.50 with the crown, from lug to lug , the case is 37 mm. fitted on a new leather strap with steel buckle.
