Vintage C1930 Hobbies ' " Miss America " (?) Live Steam Boat Or Launch

This charming "Hobbies" live steam launch or boat dates from the 1930's and is, I believe, their "Miss America" model. There are no splits or cracks to the boat, however, there is now some separation between the bottom and the hull.The front cowl of the boat has been replaced at some point and there has been some repainting, to the bottom.The metal frame that holds the boiler does shoe signs of surface rust and the paint has 'bubbled from the heat in places.It also the usual scuffs an...d marks you would expect from a played with item of this age. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.The rear tin cover is present and the paper "Hobbies" label is still present to the stern, although this has lost some colour.The brass rudder moves well.The steam motor appears to be complete, however, it has not been tested, the propeller revolves smoothly and pushes around the direct drive wheel.The boat measures 64 cm (25 1/4 inches) long.The stand is not included. Boat or LaunchThis charming "Hobbies" live steam launch or boat dates from the 1930's and is, I believe, their "Miss America" model. There are no splits or cracks to the boat, however, there is now some separation between the bottom and the hull.
