Here is a solid ceramic standing femalefigure carefully modeled with a heart-shaped face,
nubile breasts, diminutivearms, bulbous legs and painted with cream details over a lustrous,
deep-redburnished slip. She is adorned with ear ornaments, arm bracelets, a paintedbeaded
belt and short apron decorated with traces of a complex symmetricaldesign.
5.5” (14 cm) high, 21/8“ (5 cm) wide and 1 1/8” (2.4 cm) deep;
without repairs or restoration, this highly de...sirable desirable figure is in
excellent condition.
Chinesco/Chinesca figures are classified into four broad "A"through "D" stylistic categories;
