Selling a hard to find vintage 1979 Pioneer Spec 4 Pro Rack Mount Stereo Power Amplifier and manual in its original found extremely nice condition. Rare Estate Find! One owner from prominent estate bought at AAFES Military base in 1979. Copy of original receipt included. Tested and functions properly. The knobs and power switch turn smoothly. Pots and switches have been cleaned with Deoxit for noise free operation. The military warranty card and specifications poster are included.The S...pec-4 employs DC construction which excludes capacitors from the NFB circuits and uses a dual transistor differential amplifier with a current mirror circuit in the 1st stage. This provides a stable operation and also high gain over a wide frequency range. The pre-driver stage is a class A circuit with a regulated current circuit for the load making high gain amplification with superior linearity. There is an overdrive limiter and power limiter circuit which is designed to protect the power transistors and increase reliability.Check out my other listings for the complete Pioneer system that was installed in this rack.
