This is a vintage all-original tin litho working friction 1961 Chevrolet Impala 4-door hardtop. Bandai is the maker and the Bandai logo “Sign of Quality Made in Japan” is imprinted on bottom. The 11” black and white tin litho car has nice graphics. The interior has pale green interior with detailed dash and black steering wheel and green and white stripped seat covers. It’s decked out with red plastic dome roof light, white plastic fender s...irens, painted red metal raised tail lights, siren, antenna, metal trim, rubber tires with lithographed hub caps and Chevrolet rear license plate. The car is in nice vintage used condition. There are bumps, edge wear, scratches and abrasions with missing paint. The tin metal trim shows some signs of oxidation. The celluloid windows are intact with no breaks and normal scratches. The black rubber tires and metal hub caps are in nice condition. The base plate is in nice vintage used condition. The friction works as it should to move the car forward and sound the siren. This is a nice old all- original Japanese-made working car. It will display very nicely in your collection.
