Unissued original Italian WW2 San Marco naval infantry Btn swimmer's badge.An identilcal badge is shown on G.Rosignoli's book on RSI badges and insignias, however the story I get on this badge is that the San Marco unit asked to a badge producer in Florence (Firenze - Italy) to make this badge but once it was done, since it was so fragile, the unit cancelled the order.This was before the RSI as during that period another swimmer's badge was issued.
Complete with its paper bag it is ...in perfect condition.
