Tonight I am listing a large lot of postwar Lionel trains all coming from an estate collection. These belonged to a man who never married or had kids and spent most of his money buying trains his entire life. He had several rooms in his home decidated to his train collection. He purchased many of them from private dealers by mail or at trade shows. In the 1980s and 1990s he was buying trains new, but would never take them out of the box. He was an engineer by trade, so I can only assume he took good care of these trains mechanically.
It has been a bit overwhelming trying to get this collection up for auction, so please email me questions or corrections. This entire collection all came from the same place, but things can get mixed up when moving so many items. I am not a trains expert, so please view the photos and place your bids accordingly.
If any of the lots appear to be missing parts, etc., then I probably still have associated items unlisted. With this first round of auctions I have tried to list most of the more valuable trains.
Please be patient with shipping times. Shipping can be combined, but most lots will have to be shipped individually due to the size. Please send a message at auction close if you want shipping to be combined.
