The logo stamping is strong. There are some dents and scuffs scattered about the axe. The cutting edge is sharp. There are several tiny nicks along the edge. The handle is original. The head fits tight. The handle is not cracked or splintered. There is a dented area on the axe head(pic. 8). There is some light mushrooming on the head. The remains of the sticker say "Fire Hardened". The handle retains a bit of the original stamping " Fire Hardened".The hatchet is 6 3/4" from e...dge to hammer. The cutting edge is 5 1/8".
