This auction is for a fabulous RARE Adolph Katz Coro book piece (#141469) figural flamingo brooch! It is just an outstanding piece with green marquis shaped stones inset at his shoulders and rhinestone embedded tail and head. He has a ruby rhinestone eye and rhinestones inset at his knees. This piece is shown on page 56 (1945 Coro) of Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia Carroll. This brooch has one green stone that has slipped out of it's spot a bit..., but is not loose. Minimal wear to the piece. He is about 1 3/4" in height and about 1 3/4" across. Wonderful rare unusual piece by one of Coro's most famous designers.
