N172 BROWN'S CHAMPS SUBSET. RUDY KEMLER CATCHER. This card has never been for sale since 1968. I have had it stashed away since 08/26/19. Rudy Kemler was the first Catcher to ever wear a face mask. This is a nice, unmarked card that I bought in 1968. It has gone with me as I moved and lived all over the country, so Rudy has been my travelling companion since I was 11 years old. I was so thrilled to have a card from the 1800's, all the while I was buying 1968 through 1971 n...ickel packs with my lawn mowing money. I found him at a gun show, and I should have been buying all of the '52 Topp's cards too. I am now 62. This nice card will neatly fit into the Rudy Kemler slot on Your Brown's Champs Set. I was never going to sell this card, but I'm ill, and I don't want my wife to throw him away. This card has personality, and until You buy a high grade card, consider putting my Rudy in Your Brown's catcher's slot. He'll smile at You every day. If You don't like my price, make an offer. You never know. I want him to go to a good home, and rejoin his teammates after 133 years alone. Thanks For Looking.
