Fine Old Antique French Empire Gilt Bronze Ormolu & Crystal Covered Box Casket

Here is a very fine antique French, Empire style, gilt bronze ormolu and crystal covered box. It measures about (9.5 cm) 3.74" diameter, about (3 cm) 1.18" deep inside and about (8 cm) 3.15" tall to top of finial on lid. It is in very good condition overall. The crystal is free of chips or cracks, there are some micro égrenures on the rim of the inner part of the lid, some scratches und...erneath due to his age (see pictures)The bronze ormolu is in excellent condition, and it is of very good quality with many details and very pretty motifs.
