Up for auction is a fine Chinese Red Langyao Sang de Boeuf flambe glaze porcelain vase. This vase is a beautiful example that has a particularly fine and rich red hare’s fur flambe glaze. The vase also has a nice white crackle glazed upper rim with purplish-blue glazed accents. The vase is a fine antique example that I believe likely dates from the earlier to mid 19th century. The vase shows original base rim chip imperfections and is otherwise in very fine condition with no cracks, and no repairs. The vase is a nice large size for displaying measuring 12 inches tall, by 7 inches wide. Legitimate antique examples like this are becoming exceedingly hard to find.
