ABOUT:Set of four larger tablespoon, casserole or berry serving spoons by Gorham measuring 7 inches in length each, with beautifully bright cut engraved details above a matte textured the handle, each depicting bright cut roses and buds on a vine with leaves and tendrils. Very pretty motif and they absolutely sparkle on the table! I believe this is officially called the number 101 pattern Jack (Jac) Rose which began production in 1885. True victorian era pieces.Only o...ne monogram the SPOONS. The front of one handle is engraved 1901 which provides a nice provenance. The back of that spoon has a name engraved on the handle not visible when the table is set. The other three spoons have no monograms.MEASUREMENTS:These large spoons measures about 7". Feels quite a bit denser than some of my other more delicate spoons. The set Weighs a combined 155 grams - high quality pieces.MARKS:Marked Sterling on the back with the appropriate Gorham makers marks and a T stamp.IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:Please note this set is in estate condition with some utensil nicks and scratching in the spoons' bowls and some light scuffs and squiggles on the back. You can see in the photos some of the scratches in the spoon bowls. Handle designs are still perfect and I don't see any wear there, they have held their shape well for their many years of age - it seems to be just the smooth areas of the spoon bowls where any wear is made more evident by the mirrored finish. Nothing super deep or distracting, no pin dings or dents. Please note this set is not in mint condition.
