This is a beautiful doll made by Adolf Wislizenus in Germany. Her perfect socket head is marked on the back: 29, A W Special, Germany. She has big brown set glass eyes with lashes painted all around and a shaded open mouth with four set teeth. She has a smooth unblemished complexion. Her body is in great condition and looks to have been professionally repainted. There are no cracks or lifting paint. It is strong and has been restrung. She wears beautiful... clothing that has been custom made for her. She has a full set of underwear, a blue and white checked dress and a white pinafore. Her head is stuffed with tissue paper to protect the glass eyes and her styrofoam pate is lightly attached. Her wig is old but not original and is simply pinned to the pate. The wig is a thick, center part human hair wig and compliments her beautiful face and big brown eyes. She's ready to display and looking for a new home.
