Antique Lakota Beaded Doll Pair C. 1919, originally sold by Cameron Trading Post in Arizona for $3750.
Great REAL antique dolls, not a crazy amount of beadwork like the collectors love but more interesting than your average dolls you see all the time. The feather has been has been taped as is shown on the pics but other than that in nice condition. The face on the fella is not nearly as nice as the lassie. She is beautiful and interesting. He has some discoloration on the nose. The ...dolls are older than the ceremonial war club above it with the metallic beads. Don’t know why they paired them up like that? But they did and I don’t wanna pull them from the box and break up the pair. They are fastened by string so if you wanna take them out and sell them separately, that’s up to you.
