This listing is for an antique Yawman and Erbe Tiger Oak library card file cabinet. Yawman and Erbe is one of America’s earliest and most respected manufacturers of business and industrial cabinetry. This card file would be dated circa 1920. It is constructed of quarter sawn oak and has the brass “Y&E” and manufacturer plates. It measures 15 inches wide by 15.25 inches deep by 6 inches tall.
Also, it has a a plate on the side “N.Y.R.T.” which represents the New York Reit C...ompany which is a liquidating company based in New York. This piece has some history!
