The fabulous picture is mount...ed within a lovely gilt molded frame with a very decorative border surround.The piece has the appearance of a Period Oil painting, and the marvelous scene portrays life during the 18th Century for the Gentry.The gentleman can be seen playing cricket in their whites, whilst 2 men on Horseback (Probably game Judges) appear to be gesturing to the players.It is a highly detailed image and an image which one can enjoy viewing all day, as it seems to show something new each time is viewed.Both Frame & Picture are in excellent condition commensurate with their age.
