Very Rare Antique Bisque Doll - Miss NAJO, Composition Body

This unique antique doll is ~ 25”-26” tall. She is marked NAJO 22 on the back of her head. This is a very rare doll. There was produced a small number of these dolls somewhen between 1917-1922 by National Joint Limb Doll Company. You can see an advertising of Miss Najo dolls from Dry Good Economist magazine dated October 6, 1917. The advertising contains very interesting information about the doll and the company.
The doll is in great condition despite its age. The bisque head i...s in exelent condition but jointed body shows signs of wear. There are some broken fingers on both hands. The blonde curly hair is also in excelent condition. Apparently the wig is original as well as very beautiful shoes of the doll. Not sure about the outfit. In any case the outfit is not contemporary, probably also antique or vintage. The outfit and hat have some holes in it.
The face of the doll is beautifully painted. She has sleepy eyes.She comes with the stand. Please see photos for more details. Let us know if you have any questions.
