Armour coins were inserts in Armour hot dog products in the summer of 1955, 1959, 1960. The fronts consist of a raised profile of the player along with his name and team; the back show the previous years stats for the player. 1-1/2 inch plastic coins are unnumbered and came in a large variety of colors. The presence of variations / errors the multitude of colors make these plastic coins very challenging to collect. The 1955 set consists of 37 coins and has the most variations out of the 3 sets. It's a great set to collect and use as an investment piece.
